I am available to work by zoom or other remote platforms. But I find that working together in person is far preferable. There is no substitute for being in the presence of another. I am happy to discuss this.
I will only treat patients whose current, primary residence is in New York State.
For patients who qualify, I have a sliding fee scale — which is to say that I reserve a percentage of my practice for people who need lower fees. I am happy to discuss my fees with prospective patients either in person, on zoom or on the phone. I do not negotiate fees via email.
If you have insurance and have out of network benefits, you can be reimbursed by your insurance company for sessions with me. I’ll provide all the information you need in this process. Insurance companies typically pay some percentage of therapy fees. This percentage is policy dependent. Check with your insurer to see if you have out of network benefits.
I’m not in network with any insurance companies.
I am very conscientious about Covid and take care to minimize risk and anxiety for my patients. I have HEPA air filters in my office. While I work unmasked with many patients when there are lower infection rates, I am happy to work masked when that feels safer. In the event of a surge of Covid cases, I will adjust my protocols accordingly. For more information on this, ask to see the Covid guidelines for my practice. I switch to remote sessions when it is wise to do so.
